Gardening Maintenance
August 11, 2011

August is a month when garden activity is largely maintenance.

Watch for insect or disease damage throughout your garden and take the necessary steps to control the problems right away.

Be constantly aware of watering needs for your trees, shrubs, and perennials as they are vital to your garden from year to year.

Keep the weeds pulled before they have a chance to flower and go to seed again. Otherwise, you will be fighting newly germinated weed seed for the next several years.

Fall will be here before you know it and as temperatures moderate, you will be back in your garden planting and sprucing up your landscape. Until then the maintenance you do is vital for the overall health of your plants. Visit us here at Waterloo Gardens for all the expertise and products you need to maintain a beautiful landscape.
