Planting Fruit Trees
March 03, 2011

We received our early order of fruit trees just last week. It is the very first order of new nursery products to arrive and soon we will be inundated with trucks carrying a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and perennials.

The reason we receive fruit trees early is the necessity of bringing them in when they are still in dormancy, not displaying either foliage or flower.

It is in fact ideal to plant apples and pears as soon as the ground has thawed, a little later for cherries, and then peaches and plums. So for the very best selection visit us this week. We will hold your purchases and care for your trees for a few weeks until you are ready to plant.

The fruit trees currently in stock are container grown, easy to handle and plant yourself unless you would prefer to have us plant them for you. They are grown by a company which uses exceptional practices to care for the product and for the environment around them. They have been recognized for their work in saving America's great watersheds.

We look forward to seeing you soon as we prepare for a great spring season!
