All photographers (professionals and amateurs) who take photos in the Arboretum must become an East Texas Arboretum Member. (This policy applies to all photographers who take photos at the Arboretum.)

ALL Photography "Shoots" must be scheduled in ADVANCE with the Arboretum Office 903-675-5630. This includes photos for the following events:
- Birthday Parties
- Bar Mitzvahs
- Class Meetings
- Class Reunions
- School Groups
- Family Gatherings
- Company Meetings and Social Gatherings
- Any OTHER Groups or Events
Brides who have booked weddings must check for available times for their photo shoots and must schedule all of your photo sessions in ADVANCE with the office.
Please do not walk or stand or pose in the flower beds or on the rocks by the pond. You will be billed for all plant, sprinkler and other damages you, your client and your group causes or creates. Anyone damaging Arboretum property will also be subject to prosecution to the full extent of the law and may be banned permanetly from the Arboretum property.
NO CAKE SMASHING, food fights or OTHER such activity is permitted anywhere on Arboretum property.
The Wofford House is a museum and thus the furniture is for display only. Do not sit on or use the furnishings as props. Do not move or remove any of the funiture or furnishing from the Wofford House.
Photo Shoots will not be allowed at the Wofford House or in the Gardens on days when a wedding or other major event is booked/scheduled.
The Arboretum is private property, governed by a board of directors. It is open daily to Arboretem Members, their guests and the general public for their enjoyment and general use as long as they follow the Arboretum's policies and guide lines and demonstrate proper and lawful respect for all Arboretum property.
Abuse of Arboretum properties, plants and facilities in any form or fashion will result in access and privileges being revoked. (These Rules Apply to all Photographers - non-professionals as well as to professionals.)
Be responsible for any damages caused by you or your client: plants, furniture, structures, etc. We know accidents can happen and simply ask that you take full responsibility.
